2020 was the year of New Normal experienced by the business by adopting Working From Home culture because of Lockdown in the country. Because of which the demand for High-speed networks and improved performance increases. The need for 5G is clearly seen in these times. 4G and 5G networks enabled last-mile connectivity and kept everyone connected even at a distance. These networks are necessary because of their ability to keep businesses and families connected even as they were striving to survive and thrive.
In the digital journey of India, 5G is the most important point. This will further help the nation to remain ahead in the fields of medicine, agriculture, education, and many more.
In this time of New Normal, the whole world is dependent on the networks, which are at the core of delivering values. There is a huge demand for enhanced networks and new resources. The impact of 5G will surely be exponentially greater than any previous network generations. 5G will fully fulfill the requirements of the new normal and unlock various opportunities for sectors like manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, and others too as it will bring resilience and flexibility.
According to a recent study, 5G connectivity promises to lead consumers, industries, and governments to new frontiers of productivity and innovation. Hence, every industry vertical is bound to leverage 5G as the bedrock of innovation to rethink, re-engineer and reset operations.
Even the Education system was forced to open online classes because of the safety of students and teachers. The exams were taken online and classes too. These things demand high network connectivity to work smoothly. 5G will definitely be the best option and need to run a smooth online education system. Not only at the time of lockdown but also many schools and colleges adopted the smart education system and E-learning which also demands high network connectivity. Not only Education but other industries also need 5G connectivity.
Airtel has announced that its network is 5G ready, while Jio said that it will roll out 5G services in the second half of 2021. However, as per a recent panel report tabled in the Parliament, the government expects 5G services to roll out by early 2022 after another spectrum auction that is planned to be held after six months.
5G is 100 times faster than 4G. It provides the satisfactory level of performance needed by the increasingly connected society. 5G works at 10 gigabits per second. 5G’s network performance and its speed makes it better than the 4G network.
Yes, 5G upgradation is necessary in India to bridge the digital gap and keep the world connected. To revive and thrive in the new normal, upgrading to 5G is a necessity and enterprises must ride the high-speed network wave.
